Good morning JRCSD families and staff, 

This is an update.

Last night, I shared with you some information that had been circulating the internet and social media, specifically on Tik Tok, over the past couple of days about possible school-related threats. The New Hampshire Information and Analysis Center found that there are "no credible threats pertaining to any specific schools or locations." 

This morning, we have been provided with other Tik Tok statements of a similar nature. I want to thank our learners and community members for contacting us about these matters. Our local police continue to have an increased presence in our schools today. 

One of the posts most recently provided to us referenced "CHS." We looked into this matter and have found that this post appears to have come from another region of the country.  We have contacted the school we believe to be referenced in the post to let them know about the statement. In the case of each item brought to our attention, we have taken it seriously and have worked with the local authorities.
