Good evening JRCSD families and staff,

 Before we head into the weekend, there are a few topics I'd like to bring up:

 1. Positive COVID-19 Cases

 2. Ad Hoc Committee

 3. School Board Meeting

 POSITIVE COVID-19 CASES

 I have been notified of three (3) confirmed positive COVID-19 cases, two (2) at RMS and one (1) at JRMS. We remain in the yellow category of our COVID-19 Mitigation Strategies Matrix. It is recommended that all individuals wear masks while inside our school facilities.

 AD HOC COMMITTEE

 The district’s Reopening Framework Ad Hoc Committee is working to schedule a meeting in the next couple weeks to determine if any new changes are needed to the district’s Reopening Framework or to the district’s COVID-19 Mitigation Strategies Matrix. The committee will review district, local, and state data, and other relevant information to make this determination. Any proposed changes will then be provided to the school board for consideration.

 SCHOOL BOARD MEETING

 The school board will meet on Monday, October 18 for its regularly scheduled meeting. The meeting will be held at 7:00 p.m. in the CHS Music Room. It will also be broadcast via Zoom. An agenda and Zoom information can be found here.
