JRCSD Update - November 15, 2021
Posted on 11/15/2021
Good evening JRCSD families and staff,

There are three items I would like to bring to your attention:

1. Inclement Weather Survey
2. State of the District
3. Illness/COVID-19

Inclement Weather Survey
With the winter season quickly approaching, the district is looking for feedback on how inclement weather days should be handled. We ask that you take a few moments to complete and submit this short survey. Information gathered in this survey will help inform the district's approach to "snow days" or full-day inclement weather days.

State of the District
We are currently developing a series of short video presentations as a way to update everyone on the work taking place in and throughout the school district. Once a week for the next several weeks, we will release a video highlighting one of the following five (5) topic areas:
  • Communication
  • Facilities
  • Education - Academics and SEL
  • COVID-19 and ESSER Funds
  • Co-curriculars
These videos will be posted to our YouTube page "SAU47 Broadcast". We will also post more information about these videos on our Facebook and Instagram pages and our website when they are available.

Illness/COVID-19
I was notified today of seven (7) confirmed positive COVID-19 cases, three (3) at JGS, two (2) at RMS, and two (2) at JRMS. The individuals from JGS were last in the building on 11/10, 11/12, and 11/12. The individuals from RMS were last in the building on 11/10. The individuals from JRMS were last in the building on 11/10 and 11/12.

Have a nice evening,

 Reuben Duncan
