Please take a few moments to read this update regarding three (3) matters of interest:

Early Release - Elementary Schools
I would like to remind everyone that we will have an early release day at our elementary schools tomorrow, Wednesday, January 12. The following release times will be observed for JGS grades PreK-5 and RMS grades K-5:
- Car Riders and Walkers - 11:50 a.m.
- Bus Dismissal - 12:00 p.m.
Full-day preschool at RMS will be released at 10:45 a.m.
Budget Hearing
There will be a school district budget hearing this coming Thursday, January 13, at 6:30 p.m. in the CHS Music Room. We will present information about the proposed budget as well as several other important proposed warrant articles.
Illness/COVID-19
I was notified today of eleven (11) confirmed positive COVID-19 cases in the district, three (3) at RMS, four (4) at JRMS, and four (4) at CHS. The individuals from RMS were last in the building on 1/6 and 1/10. The individuals from JRMS were last in the building on 1/7, 1/10, and 1/11. The individuals from CHS were last in the building on 1/6 and 1/11.
Additionally, the cases over the past two days at JRMS have resulted in a cluster involving the JRMS Boys Basketball team.
