The Jaffrey-Rindge Cooperative School District is elated to announce that Sandra Kibbee has been named the next Facilities Director of the Jaffrey-Rindge Cooperative School District.

“Sandie comes to us with a diverse set of skills and experiences,” said Superintendent Reuben Duncan. “Her knowledge and passion for safety and facility management fits nicely with our current needs. We are very excited to have Sandie join a collaborative team that is focused on continuous improvement.”

Kibbee has over 15 years of experience in facilities and security work for two large corporations - National Grange Mutual and TD Ameritrade. On top of that, she has a varied level of past experience that includes being a laborer and equipment operator in the construction field and doing data entry and manual work as a corrections officer/case manager. She has a master’s degree in facilities management from the Massachusetts Maritime Academy.

“I am hoping to continue the work that John LeClair has done over the last few years,” said Kibbee. “Safety and security are extremely important to me, especially with what has been happening in different schools around the world. Our students are our future and their successes are a direct reflection of the work that SAU47 does.”

Kibbee has already started her new role and is currently working alongside Facilities Director John LeClair, who is set to retire after June 30, 2023. Kibbee is in the process of learning about all of the  current initiatives and projects that are already underway or slated for the future.

“I am very excited to get started on some new projects that will help continue to make each of the three campuses better places,” said Kibbee. “I am also looking forward to working with the SAU team and our local towns.”
