The Preschool offers a typical preschool experience for 3 and 4 year old children who reside in Jaffrey or Rindge, as well as special education for those children who require it. Children must be 3 years old by September 30, 2016 in order to be eligible. The JRIP has classes at Rindge Memorial School and Jaffrey Grade School. Children are assigned to a school based on town of residence.Tuition is $750.00 – $1000.00 per year and parents are responsible for transporting their children. There are a limited number of openings each school year, so admission to the program is decided by a lottery process. Registration for the lottery is held in February.
In accordance with Public Law 105-17 (IDEA), the District of Jaffrey/Rindge is required to actively seek, identify, and provide services to handicapped children ages 3-21.
