The counseling staff works together to provide an array of student centered services including guided exploration of programs of academic study, post secondary education and career advising and emotional health support.
College preparatory support includes: test preparation information, college admission representative visits, resource and referrals for financial aid, scholarship aid and career inquiry fairs.

EARLY COLLEGE PLANNING EVENT
Wednesday, January 16 at 6:00pm in the CHS Music Room
Presented in conjunction with NHHEAF Network Organizations
An information presentation geared toward students in grades 9 and 10, and their families, who are thinking about college, but all are invited to attend.
It is never too early to start to plan for a college education. During this presentation, strategies will be shared for academically preparing for college. In addition, helpful tips on researching colleges and majors are discussed. A preview of the financial aid process completes this program and attendees will receive a copy of the College Insider.

Scholarship information is starting to come in! We have information about the following in the Counseling Center:
Keene Lodge No 927 - Benevolent and Protective Order of Elks. There are several scholarships available through this organization. Following is the link to their website. Please pay careful attention to deadlines. https://www.elks.org/scholars/default.cfm?m=programs
New Hampshire Junior Chamber International (JCI) Senate. Go to the website www.usjcisenate.org and find the scholarship link for information and forms. Print the documents, instructions and application. The application may be filled in and printed directly from the electronic form but must be submitted in hard copy form. Electronics submissions will be disqualified.
