Mr. Chapman's students participate in the Pringle STEM challenge
On Wednesday, October 23, Jaffrey Grade School hosted a Traveling Program from the Boston Museum of Science. The museum and its generous sponsors offer “scholarships” to regional schools, which meant the JGS visit was provided free of charge. The program was designed to meet third grade science standards, so three classes had the opportunity to experience “Motion, Forces & Energy.”
"I Can Save" at Jaffrey Grade School
Mr. Chapman's Jaffrey Grade School students are trying not to crunch Pringle chips. The Pringle challenge is a national STEM activity focused on the design of protective packaging. Students work in groups to design a packaging system that will safely ship a single Pringle chip across the country.
Martin Luther King Jr Banner Featured at Jaffrey Civic Center
Wednesday, March 28th Kimothy Griffin of the State of New Hampshire Banking Department visited Jaffrey Grade School second graders and Ms. Meehan's combined class. Mr. Griffin introduced the financial decision making campaign called, "I Can Save!"

The week before February vacation brought the much-anticipated annual Winter Carnival to Jaffrey Grade School students. The carnival has been hosted at the Monadnock Bible Conference for as long as anyone can remember.
On Thursday, February 16, JGS fifth grade students enjoyed a day filled with time traveling adventures related to their study of Westward Expansion.
